Stand Location & Set Up

  • STAND :: NC 70

  • WiFi Info
Please note: We have limited capacity for WiFi, so this is ONLY for delegates. Please
do not share with guests or visitors.

    • Network: usaedtech

    • Login: usaedtech

  • The USA EdTech Pavilion is a 27 square meter stand with four open sides.

  • We will have a welcome desk, center column with digital display, and kiosks along the perimeter.

  • Each kiosk will be branded with individual company logos and will include:

    • Monitor mounted on kiosk

    • Dedicated shelf space for laptop

    • Dedicated cabinet for storage

    • Electric outlet for laptop/phone
      (bring your own UK-compatible adapter)

  • Collateral: You will have space for limited collateral. We are unable to accommodate individual collateral stands. For the most part, visitors do not take much in the way of materials. We recommend post cards with QR codes for specific tracking.

  • Below is a rough look at the placement.

  • Below is a preliminary view of the stand. On December 4th we learned that the configuration of the floor plan has changed. Our stand location remains the same, but we are now using four open sides. So the schematics have been updated accordingly. We are in final stages but some elements maybe subject to change.

  • As noted above, each exhibiting member will have their brand placed on the kiosk. Sponsors will be showcased in rotation via a digital sign (flat panel monitor) mounted within the back wall.

  • The stand itself is in production. Placement of exhibitors is at our discretion.

Stand Layout

  • Wireless keyboard mouse at each kiosk

  • Power outlet (remember your adaptor)

  • Small storage for laptop

  • Additional storage at welcome desk

  • Additional portable battery unit available at welcome desk.

Kiosk Assignments

  • Arranged at discretion of organizer. No changes available.

Registration

  • Reminder that you will need to have registered directly via your instance of Bett eZone. Send a note to Bett email EXHIBITOR@bettshow.com if you have any issues.

Marketing

Pre-Event Marketing

  • We’ll be kicking off a steady stream of pre-event marketing on LinkedIn. We will be talking up the USA EdTech presence and each of the partners and sponsors, in turn. As you’re able, we encourage you to like and share.  NOTE: If you have any special promotions or campaigns that you are running for the event, please let us know. Be sure to tag @USAEdTech when you are promoting your Bett presence on LinkedIn and we will absolutely repost as an organization and individually.

  • Our media partner, DatiaK12, is prepared to create a video asset citing any/all participating companies. It will be a video composed of any delegate that wishes to join in. The process is simple. Just click this link, follow the prompts, and start recording. DatiaK12 will stitch these together as an asset and we’ll promote it just prior to the event.
The goal is to generate excitement and showcase the humans that will be on the ground (in addition to the brands). We’re not looking for perfection. Instead we’re looking for excitement and authenticity. The deadline to participate is EOD FRIDAY JANUARY 9TH.

Photos and Videos

We will be posting photos and videos of delegates and visitors throughout each day. We will tag your company (and you). We encourage you to repost with your preferred hashtags.
Interviews
We have an interview stand at one of the kiosks, which is branded with logos of sponsors and participating companies. Two things to note:

  • We will be looking to interview at least one person from every participating company at least once during the course of the event. We can’t get to everyone each day, so we many not get to you until Friday. We will do our best. We will tap you when the moment presents itself and give you simple prompts (i.e., “What do you think of Bett so far?” or “Tell us something unexpected that happened during the day.”) These will be posted as we go.

  • You are welcome to use this interview area  to capture your own interviews, video recordings, media connections, etc.

Digital Display
We have a digital display that will feature the logos of sponsoring organizations in a rotation. We will also have all logos of participating companies on hand. So, if you would like your photo (or a team photo) in front of the USA EdTech stand with your logo on display, we can make that happen. Just tap one of our team members to arrange this while we are on site.

Canvassing

Exhibitors are reminded that handing out promotional materials or waylaying buyers in the gangways or public areas is prohibited. This includes car parks, catering facilities and entrances. Handing out of literature, samples etc., is only permitted within the confines of your stand.

Selling from Stands

Please note it is strictly forbidden for companies to sell products from their stands as the exhibition is trade only and selling directly from stands attracts the general public and also contravenes health and safety regulations.

Lead Scanning and Connect @ Bett Info Session

  • Lead Scanning

    • For companies opting into Lead Scanning and the Connect at Bett Platform, your licenses is now active.

    • Bett Video for reference.

    • The platform to set up lead scanning is the same platform as the one you've been using to register your team, Visit by GES. To get started, please go to the ezone and select 'exhibitor registration'. This will take you to the main platform where you will be able to register your colleagues, edit their permission to be able to use the lead scanning tool, and eventually see all your scanned leads.

For a quick to-do list on how to prepare for use of the lead scanning tool onsite, see below:

      • Download the app or access on web browser - different set up instructions are here

      • Add team members - Visit by GES allows you to register your team for the event and grant them permissions to view, make and manage connections, and you can also grant some of the members admin permissions so they can also manage the team. If you've already added team members, you can edit their permissions by hovering over their name, selecting the pencil icon, and selecting/unselecting the tick boxes under 'Permissions' in the pop-up.

        • 'Allow to make connections' means that person can access the lead capture platform,

        • 'Admin permissions' means they can edit roles of individuals the same way you currently can as an admin

        • 'Show all connections' means they can see all the leads captured by your staff at the show,

        • 'Allow export connections' means they can export leads captured

      • Add questions - Set up the questions in the Visit Connect app before the event, so your team members can collect the answers while making connections. This will help you streamline the follow-up process and remember who was who!

Onsite, while scanning connections, the app will continue to operate if you don't have internet connection. However, the scan information won't sync data to the portal without a connection. You must ensure devices connect to wifi in order for all of the leads to be synced across to your Visit by GES account.

  • Connect at Bett

    • Link to guidelines from Bett on how to utilize the platform. They will not be hosting an information session as the guidelines are pretty straightforward. But if you need support, please let us know.

Travel Guidance

  • Click here for Bett’s information page related to travel.

  • Friendly reminder that you are solely responsible for your travel to/from the UK and locally, and for all lodging.

  • Important Reminder: the UK requires every visitor to have an Electronic Travel Authorization. We recommend downloading the app and going through the application process as early as possible. It takes a few minutes to complete and is usually approved within minutes. However, it can take several days.

  • Click here for hotels recommended by Bett. Note that many folks choose to stay in other parts of London.

    • We recommend hotels near the Tower of London or Liverpool Street Station. These areas have a little more happening at night than what you would find near the excel center.

  • Local travel - we use the Elizabeth Line or the DLR (above ground light rail) to get to/from the Excel Center.
